“Oh not a problem! Let me know if you get tired, we can always just take a cab! But for now let’s enjoy the fresh air!” Sophie giggles and kisses Caleb back on the cheek “Well what car would you want? what’s your dream car?” Sophie steers Caleb towards the closet starbucks.
“I’m glad you understand me, Sophie. I’ll never get tired of walking! But, sure. If I get tired.” He said, smiling at her and blushed when she kissed him. “My future car? It’s a Camry. Nothing to fancy, nothing to cheap.” Caleb smiles a little and looks behind him, looking at Sophie and opening the door for her.
Sophie walks ahead of Caleb and waits for him to follow and links her arm back with his and walks towards the counter. “Hm what do you want? It’s on my treat! anything you want a drink, snacks!” Sophie eyes wander towards the menu. “I think I’ll get the Passion Iced Tea Lemonade! What about you Caleb?”
“I was gonna pay..Like the gentleman I am, Soph.” He said, looking away, and eyeing a bag of dried apples. “I’ll just take a Black Tea, sweeten.” He said, smiling at her. “Sophie…” He said, looking at her red hair.
“Don’t be a fool, I’ll pay! You can’t pay anyways!” Sophie sticks her out and Caleb and holds up his wallet in the air “See? I took this out of your pocket on the way here, So I fully intend on paying for our drinks too!” Sophie turns towards the counter “Oh and let me get two bags of those dried apples please.”
“If you say so, Soph. Thank you.” He said, smiling a little. “Sophie, why did you steal my wallet? I thought I forgot it at home!” He said, smiling widely and laughing a little. “You like dried apples? I love them, but that doesn’t make anything…Weird about me..”
Sophie laughs “Well because I told you I fully intended on paying today! I don’t mind dried apples but I had feeling you wanted some buy the way you were starring at them like you haven’t had them in ages, and don’t be silly your not weird at all!” Sophie moves to pay and hands the cashier her credit card and grabs the drinks and dried apples and turns to find a table away from everyone. Then turns to Caleb “Is this table okay?”
Caleb smiled a little and said, “Right.” He followed her and looked at her, smiling a little, and hoping that she doesn’t suspect anything. “That table’s fine, Soph.” He said, looking away. “Sophie….Can I admit something?” He asked, looking at her.
Sophie looks at Caleb “What’s wrong? something on your face tells me you don’t believe me that your not werid, I’m really good at reading people trust me. Of course, tell me what’s on your mind” Sophie pulls out her chair and sits.
