“Oh not a problem! Let me know if you get tired, we can always just take a cab! But for now let’s enjoy the fresh air!” Sophie giggles and kisses Caleb back on the cheek “Well what car would you want? what’s your dream car?” Sophie steers Caleb towards the closet starbucks.
“It’s nothing, Soph.” He said, smiling slightly and sat down on a chair. “Sophie, have you ever had feelings for someone?” He asked.
Sophie ponders for a few seconds “Honestly, yes but that person never felt the same way, Why are you interested in someone? Are they pretty? What’s there name!”
Caleb looks away for a minute, smiling a little. “Her name, is Sophie. And, yes, you are pretty. You’re the prettiest girl I’ve seen.” He said, looking down. “Now, you know how I feel about you, Soph.”
Sophie’s cheeks redden and looks at Caleb ” Really? Well your a handsome gentlemen yourself. Well I’m glad I know how you feel because I feel the same way about you” Sophie slides her hand on top of Caleb’s.
Caleb grins a little, looking at Sophie and kissed her softly, he pulled away, trying not to make it seem awkward. “Yes, really. Ever since I met you, you have been…Such an impact on my life, that I swore one day that you would be mine.” He looked away and said, “R-Really?”
Sophie giggles “Oh Caleb of course I like you, why else would I agree to let you come pick me up!” Sophie looks around the cafe and notices that were the only ones left. “Well hopefully I’ve made a good impact on your life, swore eh? would you fight off anyone else that tried to court me?” Sophie giggles some more and a thought pops in her about Caleb and his living arrangements. “Oh yeah! I want to see your place since you have seen mine! It’s only fair!”
Caleb smiled a little and said, “Really? I mean, I’m not all that attractive, Soph. You are more lovelier than I.” He smiled a bit and looked around. “Sophie, I swear on my life, you’ve made a big impact on my life. You are everything to me.” He said, holding her hand. “My place? It’s not that clean, Soph. And, yes. I would fight someone for you. Just for you. I love you, Sophie.”
“Of course you are! why would you think such a thing of yourself?” Sophie takes a hold of Caleb’s hand and stands and turns towards Caleb. “I love you too, now don’t be freaked out or anything.. but I might go on a cleaning spree at your home” Sophie giggles and hopes Caleb isn’t offended by her comment.
Caleb laughed a little, saying, “Well, thank you for that, Soph.” He cleared his throat and took her hand, leading her to the door, smiling a bit. “A cleaning spree? I’m fine with that. But, please don’t touch my camera, Soph. It’s expensive and I bought it…That’s the only reason why I don’t have a lot of money with me. I’m a photographer. I hope that doesn’t scare you.”
Sophie laughs “Not really a cleaning spree just tidying up no major cleaning!. Sophie looks at Caleb with a surprised face. “Really? your a photographer? That’s amazing Caleb! I must see your work! Well don’t worry you will be a famous photographer and making money!”
Caleb laughs and said, “Oh, that’s fine then!” He smiled at her and walked out the door, taking out his camera and taking pictures of bikers and taxis. “Yeah, I work for the newspaper, Soph. I love taking pictures.” He said, facing toward her and took a picture of Sophie, making sure she didn’t notice. “It’s not that much money, but I love it.”
Sophie look at caleb while his taking picture and sees how much he enjoys taking pictures “When did you realize you like talking pictures? And what newspaper do you work for?”
Caleb looks at his camera and realizes that one of the pictures are blurry. “Uhm, when I was…16. I wanted to be a photographer when I started a little photography store and no one came to get their pictures taken, so I closed it down. And, now I work for the newspaper.” He said, smiling a bit and cleaned his frame. “T-The Daily Bugle, Sophie.”
Sophie looked at Caleb with sad eyes ” I’m sorry your store for closed down but I’m sure that if you make a name for yourself and open it again people will for sure come” Sophie thinks as to why that newspaper name sounded so familiar “well how have you been working there?”
